Anterior hip replacement. Philosophy
I treat hip and knee arthritis by preserving what still works. If arthritis is limited to one part of the knee, I prefer a partial replacement. If a hip can be replaced from the front without cutting muscle, that is my usual approach. I use a total replacement when the whole joint needs it — not because it is the default.
